Author Copyright and Licensing

Authors who publish with Sustainable Construction and Management retain full copyright of their work. The journal operates under an open access model to support the free exchange of knowledge and wider dissemination of research.

All articles are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) unless otherwise stated. This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author and source are properly credited.

 

Key terms of CC BY 4.0:

  • Anyone may share (copy and redistribute) the material in any medium or format.

  • Anyone may adapt (remix, transform, and build upon) the material for any purpose, even commercially.

  • Appropriate credit must be given to the original author(s) and the journal.

  • A link to the license must be provided.

  • Any changes made must be indicated.

 

Author Rights

Authors retain the following rights:

  • The right to use the article in their future works (e.g., books, research compilations).

  • The right to deposit the article in institutional repositories or on personal websites.

  • The right to present the article at conferences or distribute it for educational purposes.

 

Publisher Rights

By submitting and publishing with Sustainable Construction and Management, authors grant the publisher a non-exclusive license to:

  • Publish, distribute, and preserve the article in all forms and media.

  • Identify Sustainable Construction and Management as the original place of publication.

 

Third-Party Material

Infringement and Plagiarism

Sustainable Construction and Management takes copyright infringement and plagiarism seriously. Any violations will be handled in accordance with COPE guidelines and may result in retraction of the article and notification to the author’s institution.
